Not In The Words

The days would not seem new,
So unfortunate that I am missing you,
Just left are the memories in mind and heart,
With tears in eyes we had to depart.

Those two wonderful years had come to a tragic end,
What is life? A foe or a friend!
Shakespeare words go “We are actors and life is a play”,
Failure, success, happiness and worries are like waves in a bay.
Those painful thoughts are still in the blink of my eye,
My hands high waving to say you goodbye.
Tears rolled down the cheeks and I felt to cry,
You walked away and vanished into the thick air.
I shouted at god why are you being so unfair?

But happy with the thought that I would always be with you,
Sometimes I think do u still feel the way I do,
True love never dies, you will feel me if my love is true,
Nothing else is my destiny but just you,
But these words cannot say how much I love you.

The Love

This poem is my version of K.K.Daruwala's "Love Across the salt desert".

With the beautiful morning sun rise,
The handsome lad had left his village far behind,
Feeding the jackals the previous day,
Doing the traditional rituals and asking god's favour in every way.

He had a long way to move,
It seemed impossible with little water and food,
As his destination was far apart,
To cross the thar(deasert )was quiet a hard,
It seemed he was gambling his life,
But his blind love took him far and wide,
He knew true love never dies.

For the route he was not a stranger,
He had smuggled cloves with the help of rangers,
He crossed the dry land with his camel on command,
But he was very unlucky to be seen,
To catch him the security person were keen,
By the night he reached his beloveds den,
Bleeding was his leg, because of the bullet of secutity men,
Fell in her arms and kissed her hand,
And hidden by the dark took her to his land.

Million Lives In A Dream

With the first ray of the morning light,
Halted the story of my beautiful dream flight.

Felt like the heaven seemed so smart,
Crackled like a bottle of wine was my heart.

That beautiful night I saw an angel in my dream,
Quenching her thrust by the gushing stream.

The flowing water kissed her lips,
And rushed towards me to share the bliss.

Standing by the stream and hidden by the dark,
I watched her move from the hole of a bark.

The sound of stream, singing of birds, & the rising flare,
I felt she had stirred the sweetness of romance in the air.

The beautiful winds all set to blow,
Kissing her lips was the falling snow.

She was dancing by the fire in the cold moon light,
With her palms holding the air so tight,

Days and years passed, seasons after seasons flew,
Her moves were blissful, that hold my eyes like glue.

Her dance singing the glory of love and peace,
Watch her move was a moment of bliss.

As the thorn on the floor kissed her feet,
The blood rushed and the floor seemed like a red carpet sheet.

In pain as the tears on her face just touched the light,
It seemed like a pearl shining on her face so bright.

Silently I prayed give this world the pain and the bride to me,
She is the heart with in my heart and the life with in me.

As my prayer came to a halt, the ill was just about to start,
From the dark came a sound and that followed a dart.

With in a blink of eye it struck the angel on her heart,
The dart pierced down and tore her heart apart.

I ran to hold her in my arms and help her fall,
In her eyes I found myself so greedy and small.

With thoughts, tears, pain and grief,
Lifted her as she went down to a blissful sleep.

My soul burned with quenchless fire,
I laid her on the wood that lit her funeral pyre.

Watch her burn and with a big cry I fell down on the ground,
My face buried in ash and I fought with god without a sound,

Those beautiful eyes and the angle by the stream,
I felt I lived a million lives in a dream.

Immortal King..........

Walking on the road a breezy night,
The palace seemed stained with blood in the moon light.

Like a play on the stage the black night was set,
And with all those thought my eyes got wet.

Not tears but blood rolled down from my eye,
And burned breathlessly like the sun in the sky.

Country's most secured house turned into a grave,
What master and his loyal not even left were his slaves.

The hunger to power is very much true,
No different from other story your brother killed you.

Forgive them who has given you death so worse,
Shower them with lots of love not curse.

The land of yours burns in quenchless fire,
Living with hope you rise from your funeral pyre.

You burned to ashes and touched the sky,
But will be immortal and in the blink of our eye.

Oh! King rise from your grave,
Come to me and hear my pain.

In trouble and in despair is your land,
Help us all rise above with hand in hand.

You belong to the people you always adore,
Stood with us in good and bad times we fought for.

Deep down your eyes there was a vision that it hold,
After you everything was scattered and left were sold.

Even from my grave I will as my land a share of god's bliss,
And pray for your soul to rest in peace.

Whenever ever I see any cemetery,
I feel the suffering of peoples in my country.

Like you I am too haunted by tears, grief and cry,
I always remember you but with tears in my eye.
