Not In The Words

The days would not seem new,
So unfortunate that I am missing you,
Just left are the memories in mind and heart,
With tears in eyes we had to depart.

Those two wonderful years had come to a tragic end,
What is life? A foe or a friend!
Shakespeare words go “We are actors and life is a play”,
Failure, success, happiness and worries are like waves in a bay.
Those painful thoughts are still in the blink of my eye,
My hands high waving to say you goodbye.
Tears rolled down the cheeks and I felt to cry,
You walked away and vanished into the thick air.
I shouted at god why are you being so unfair?

But happy with the thought that I would always be with you,
Sometimes I think do u still feel the way I do,
True love never dies, you will feel me if my love is true,
Nothing else is my destiny but just you,
But these words cannot say how much I love you.

The Love

This poem is my version of K.K.Daruwala's "Love Across the salt desert".

With the beautiful morning sun rise,
The handsome lad had left his village far behind,
Feeding the jackals the previous day,
Doing the traditional rituals and asking god's favour in every way.

He had a long way to move,
It seemed impossible with little water and food,
As his destination was far apart,
To cross the thar(deasert )was quiet a hard,
It seemed he was gambling his life,
But his blind love took him far and wide,
He knew true love never dies.

For the route he was not a stranger,
He had smuggled cloves with the help of rangers,
He crossed the dry land with his camel on command,
But he was very unlucky to be seen,
To catch him the security person were keen,
By the night he reached his beloveds den,
Bleeding was his leg, because of the bullet of secutity men,
Fell in her arms and kissed her hand,
And hidden by the dark took her to his land.
